Publisher review:Promo Link Package (component and module) is developed to sustain Internet marketing campaigns and promotional activities by encouraging users to refer the site to other people. Promo Link Package (component and module) is originally developed to support advertising campaign of a well known Seattle Kozak's restaurant. Just for filling out the form and referring a friend, the restaurant offered a free sandwich of choice. In addition one will receive 10% of their referred friend’s total restaurant bill. The referred friend will receive a free appetizer of choice, just for clicking on the link. Promo Link ModulePromo Link Module displays the promo and a link to the form which contains several fields like name and email address of the referred person and the person referring. Upon submission, data are stored in a database and two emails are sent: to the component administrator and to the person referred. When person referred clicks on the link in email, next two emails with coupons are sent: to the person referred and to the person referring. Promo Link Component Each part of the process can be configured using Promo Link Component Administration. Emails can be edited from backend as well. Promo Link Component manager can monitor activity, print coupons, check coupons used and create Excel sheets containing data for the selected period from the frontend. Promo Link Component is SEF enabled. Promo Link Component is using PAT Templates.I will highly appreciate if you could use bug tracker or support forum if you are having problems using Promo Link component or module.
